FSSAI is Food Safety and Standard Authority of India, comes under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. The food Safety & Standards Act,2006 is actually introduces by the Government to improve the quality & the hygiene of the food.
The FSSAI certificate/ License is mandatory for all the food related business.
The FoSCoS (the food safety compliance system) is launched by FSSAI to obtain the Food License.
