My Favorite Mount Everest Movies: Stories of Bravery and Adventure

I still get goosebumps every time I watch a movie about Mount Everest, the mighty mountain that has captured my heart. One of my all-time favorites is Everest (2015), a film that recreates the terrifying events of the 1996 disaster. I remember feeling like I was right there with the climbers, holding my breath as they navigated the treacherous terrain. Another movie that I love is K2 (1993), a documentary that tells the story of a team’s attempt to climb the second-highest mountain in the world. I was on the edge of my seat as I watched the team face one challenge after another, from crevasses to altitude sickness. Both of these movies made me realize just how incredible and intimidating Everest is, and how the people who attempt to climb it must be truly brave and determined. Watching these movies always leaves me feeling inspired and humbled by the mountain’s power.
