On this trek, and from Pikey Peak, you will have fantastic views of Mt. Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Annapurna, Gaurishankar, Lhotse, Nuptse, Numbur, Sishapangma, Thamserku and Mera peak. Sunrise and sunset is the perfect time of day to fully appreciate and get the best views of these monoliths. The trail takes you through some of the most amazing villages in the region such as Kerung, Pattale, Jhapre, Lamajura, and Junbesi. This is a great opportunity to experience various castes, such as Sherpa, Chhetri, Tamang and Gurung. The trek begins at Dhap and passes through Jhapre, Junbensi, Phaplu villages and stops to admire the Tibetan Buddhist Thupten Choling Monastery where you can witness various rituals and chanting.
